Our take
The return to a two-hero-per-season format in Season 11 addresses player dissatisfaction with the single-hero Season 10.5. The alignment of the Season 11.5 update with the Avengers: Doomsday movie release suggests a strategic marketing push by NetEase to capitalize on the film's hype.
Background
Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 was described by Insider Gaming as a 'lackluster' mid-season split due to the absence of a new monthly hero and underwhelming balance updates. NetEase Games, the developer, has historically used the final Gallery Card of a season to tease the arrival of a new hero for the subsequent season.
GuangGuang, the creative director for Marvel Rivals, confirmed that the development team intends to return to the original strategy of releasing two heroes per season starting with Season 11. The upcoming season is expected to last four to five weeks, followed by Season 11.5, which may align with the release of the Avengers: Doomsday movie. Previous seasons have typically launched at 3:00 AM PT, with maintenance periods lasting at least two hours.

Our read of the evidence
Partly documented. The launch date and hero details for Marvel Rivals Season 11 are reported by three outlets — khelnow.com, insider-gaming.com, and beebom.com — but have not been confirmed by an official primary source. All four timeline events rest on these reports, with no on-the-record statement from the developer or publisher. An official Dev Vision reveal is pending on November 10, and the launch itself remains unconfirmed until November 13.
Our rating counts evidence, not opinions about anyone: events confirmed by a primary source (the person's own post, their official site, a court or government record) weigh most, then how many independent outlets report the story.
