In gaming, teaming means two or more players who are supposed to be opponents working together instead. It shows up most in free-for-all and solo modes, battle royales, Skywars-style minigames, survival games, where the whole point is that everyone is out for themselves.
When two players refuse to attack each other, share loot, or gang up on a third player, that's teaming, and it's one of the most complained-about behaviors in competitive play.
