Background
P.T. (Playable Teaser) was an interactive teaser for the canceled Silent Hills game, released for free on the PlayStation 4 in August 2014. It was created by Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro and was removed from the PlayStation Store after Silent Hills was cancelled in April 2015.
In October 2026, a solo developer named Lorean Xavier rebuilt the game in C++ and Vulkan, creating a native PC port that runs from a user’s own PS4 copy. The port adds modern PC features such as upscaling, VR, mods, and a suite of performance and visual enhancements.

Our read of the evidence
Mostly unverified. As of the dates given, the only information about the PC port comes from two news reports, one from insider‑gaming.com and one from dsogaming.com, with no primary source such as an official statement or developer confirmation cited. Because the reports do not indicate that any representative of the project spoke on the record, the claims about features, availability and licensing remain unverified. Until an authoritative source confirms the details, the status of the port remains pending verification.
Our rating counts evidence, not opinions about anyone: events confirmed by a primary source (the person's own post, their official site, a court or government record) weigh most, then how many independent outlets report the story.
